It is the surgical technique by which part of the colon is removed by laparoscopic surgery.
After removing the affected part of the colon, it proceeds to suture the ends of intestine. With laparoscopic surgery this procedure is operated through small incisions while the surgeon can see an enlarged image of the patient’s internal organs on a screen. Thus the affected part of the large intestine is located and removed.
